This Safari has an optional third day, see day three below.

Day 1

Drive 110KM to Moremi game reserve gate and stop for tea and coffee with muffins (15mins breakfast).

Game drive starts at 830hrs, it is a drive around back pools and xini lagoon. After the game drive activities at 1600hrs we will drive back to Maun and drop off our guests at their lodge.

Day 2

The trip starts from Maun to the Mokoro station.

Exploring the waterways in a traditional dugout canoe (mokoro) is a truly unique experience. The Okavango encounter takes you yet on another wilderness thrill on a relaxed mokoro ride.

Day 3 (Optional)

a) Okavango 45 minute Scenic

A scenic fly over the Okavango delta gives you a different view of this natural resource, allowing you to see the vastness of the delta from above. Here you will get to fly over the Okavango in an Airvan that lands back at Maun airport.

b) Elephant Experience

This is an incomparable experience that brings you closer to nature by letting you be personal with Africa’s giants. The activity allows you to learn anatomy of elephants and include feeding them from the palm of your hand.

Light, breathable clothing is recommended for daytime, while long and short-sleeved shirts, shorts, long pants, and lightweight jacket or sweater. neutral colors such as khaki beige and olive are ideal as they blend with the natural surroundings.

comfortable walking shoes or boots are a must for bush walks, hikes, and game drives. also, pack a pair of sandals for relaxing at the camp.

A wide-brimmed hat and polarised sunglasses that can protect you from the sun and glare.

Botswana is home to many mosquitos, tsetse flies, and other insects that can be a nuisance. Pack a high-quality insect repellent to keep them at bay.

Pack a high SPF sunscreen to protect your skin from the strong African sun.

A good pair of binoculars will enhance your game-viewing experience. Camera and batteries. You don’t want to miss those special moments. You must capture those special moments!
